Who Will Tell?

Near the end of November, we finished writing a small booklet entitled, Lies (that even clever people believe) & Truth (that will set you free). The idea for this booklet has been on our heart for many years now and we are so thankful that the Lord has given opportunity for it to finally be in print.

In the booklet, we present five of the most basic lies that Satan is seeking to get every person on this planet to believe. These lies are then refuted by truth from God’s Word. Here are the lies that we deal with:

• Lie #1: There is no God. OR There are many gods.
  Truth: There is only one true God.

• Lie #2: The lie of evolution: mankind has evolved from a lower life form.
  Truth: God is our Creator.

• Lie #3: You are a good person. In fact, all humans are basically good people.
  Truth: All humans are sinners, guilty of breaking God’s perfect laws.

• Lie #4: Mankind has no hope.
  Truth: There is hope, but it is not found in us. It is found in Jesus Christ alone.

• Lie #5: There are many ways to heaven.
  Truth: There in only one way to heaven.

Under each of these lie/truth headings, the truth is expounded and further scripture verses are given to defend the truth and reveal the error of Satan’s various lies. To view the entire contents of the booklet, go here.

Scripture translations are mine, in a feeble effort to make the English as understandable as possible. Here in South Africa, where English is the trade language of most but the heart language of few, we seek to communicate in the “language of the plowboy” as much as possible.
